Flowers and Leaves Watercolour Workshop, Saturday 4th October, 10-4

In this one day workshop we will explore various techniques for creating different types of leaves and how to bring deapth and delicacy to petals.

We will all be working with the same image, which I will provide on the day, and I will guide you all step-by-step through each process of the painting. By the end of the day, you will be going home with a beautiful painting of flowers and leaves. This workshop is suitable for anyone who has attended a previous workshop, as the subject matter will bring new techniques.

Each attendee receives one-to-one attention throughout the day.

There will be short break for lunch.

Please register below by filling out the form. And do check your spam/junk folder for my replies and regular updates concerning the course.

Hope to see you soon!

FURTHER MATERIALS:   A sharp HB pencil, an eraser, a glass jar for washing brushes.

Blue Jay Watercolour Workshop, Saturday 8th November, 10-4

In this one day workshop we will be painting the absolutely stunning Blue Jay. Using various techniques which I will show you, you will learn how to bring light and luminosity to the feathers of this exceptionally beautiful bird. There is something so magical about blue-feathered birds and the Blue Jay has many nuances and shades of blue which make it a compelling subject to work with.

Note the list of materials below, and the shades of blue you may wish to add to your paint palette.

We will all be working from the same image and will apply the paint step-by-step. Each phase of the painting will be clearly explained. Every attendee will receive individual help, and will finish the day with a completed painting.

There will be a short break for lunch.

Please register below by filling out the form. And do please check your spam/junk folders for my replies, details of how to pay, and any updates before the day.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who has previously attended one of my bird painting workshops. Not only is this a new subject, but it will also give you an opportunity to improve upon, and refine your current skill level.

Do join us for an inspiration day. Hope to see you there!

Further materials: a sharp HB pencil, an eraser, a jar for water, and a mixing palette (an old plate will do).  Optional: a fine pointed, quality watercolour brush size 1 or 0.
